Job Summary
We are looking to add one talented host to our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of NJ's most unique and exciting restaurants, in the bourgeoning food scene of Maplewood. Hosts greet and seat guests and deliver exceptional hospitality, and are required to be able to muti-task in a fast-paced environment. THIS IS A TIPPED POSITION / ALL STAFF PARTICIPATE IN THE TIP POOL
Responsibilities
- Assist customers at the door and seat them
- Follow food safety standards and guidelines, work cleanly
- assist in serving food and beverages to our guests
- manage tables in seating area
- follow steps of service
Requirements
- Knowledge of food and beverage
- Hospitality driven
- Familiarity with food safety practices
- Previous experience in a comparable restaurant service role
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Experience in fine dining is advantageous
