Job Summary
We're seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Maker to join our fast-paced Pizza Team. This job is seasonal, open some week days, but primarily Thursday & Saturday 4-10p and Sundays 11a-6p from May through September and many special events in "off-season". Extra hours available for prep and setup as desired. Job is hourly plus tips. Tips are paid in cash every day and average an additional $10+ per hour.
This position is for an experienced pizza maker. Positions, pay, and hours are flexible for someone with the right skillset.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizzas, bread sides, and pasta dishes.
- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to cook pizzas to the desired doneness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station, following food safety standards at all times.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed during preparation and serving.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and ensure timely order completion.
- Dish washing, sweeping, mopping, and general cleaning are duties shared by all staff.
Requirements
- Proficient at making hand-stretched pizzas, appetizers, bread sides, etc...
- This position is for experienced pizza makers only, amateurs or enthusiasts should not apply.
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a restaurant environment is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices.
- Experience with meal preparation, catering, or fine dining settings is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving customers and supporting colleagues.
- Good personal hygiene, we make and serve food in an open kitchen, cleanliness is a must. Tattoos, facial hair, and piercings welcome.
- ServSafe cert. is a plus, We offer ServSafe training after your first season.
Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
