Speech-Language Pathologist (CFY Considered)
Join our growing team as a Speech-Language Pathologist and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and collaborative clinician to provide high-quality pediatric speech and language services in a supportive environment. Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply and will receive mentorship and supervision to support a successful transition into independent practice.
This position offers the opportunity to work with children presenting with a variety of communication, feeding, and developmental needs while collaborating with families and other professionals to help each child reach their fullest potential.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to assess communication, language, articulation, fluency, voice, social communication, and feeding/swallowing skills as appropriate.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and family goals.
- Provide evidence-based therapy services to children with speech and language disorders, autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and other communication challenges.
- Address expressive language, receptive language, articulation, phonological disorders, social communication, fluency, and other areas of need.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, educators, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support carryover and maximize outcomes.
- Provide parent education, home programs, and recommendations to support communication development outside of therapy sessions.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation within electronic health record systems.
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration, treatment planning, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred for fully licensed applicants.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary pediatric team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, family-centered, evidence-based care.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with pediatric populations through clinical placements, internships, or professional practice.
- Experience supporting children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, speech sound disorders, language disorders, and social communication challenges.
- Knowledge of evidence-based pediatric speech and language interventions.
- Experience with feeding and swallowing disorders is a plus.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical documentation practices.
