Mississippi Laser is seeking a dependable, hardworking General Labor team member to join our growing second shift production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing quality work.
Shift:
- Monday – Friday
- 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Occasional overtime required based on production needs
Responsibilities
- Remove finished steel parts from cut steel sheets
- Sort, count, and inspect parts for accuracy
- Palletize and organize completed orders
- Tag and label parts for identification and shipment
- Move parts with forktruck to next process or area
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with general shop cleanup and housekeeping
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required—we will train the right candidate
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when counting and organizing parts
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
