Responsibilities
- Safely operate trucks with a manual transmission .
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Drive route schedules confidently, ensuring on-time deliveries across designated areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, inspection reports, and route documentation.
- Communicate effectively with teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any issues encountered during trips.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery operations.
- Familiarity with operating trucks equipped with manual transmissions.
- Prior experience handling freight load & unload procedures safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to driving large vehicles.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle types operated; clean driving record required.
