We are seeking an experienced and motivated Crew Build Supervisor to lead field crews in the construction and installation of telecommunications infrastructure. This role is responsible for organizing daily crew activities, providing clear direction and instruction, coordinating with customers on-site, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company and customer standards.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience managing field operations, interpreting construction plans and utility maps, and overseeing the installation of telecommunications facilities. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact on the job site, ensuring effective communication between the crew, customers, and project management. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Organize, supervise, and direct daily activities for telecommunications construction crews.
- Provide leadership, instruction, and training to crew members to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
- Review and interpret project maps, construction plans, utility drawings, and specifications, ensuring crews understand project requirements.
- Coordinate directly with customers, property owners, utilities, and project managers to prepare job sites and maintain clear communication throughout each project.
- Ensure all work is completed according to project plans, customer expectations, and applicable industry standards.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor crew productivity to keep projects on schedule.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with company and customer specifications.
- Enforce company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and safe work practices.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors to support efficient project completion.
- Identify and resolve job site challenges while communicating project updates to management.
- Complete required project documentation, including daily reports, time records, and material tracking.
- Maintain a professional relationship with customers while representing the company in a positive and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, and building practices.
- Ability to read and interpret maps, and construction plans.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
