We are excited to be recruiting for this Office Administrator role for FIxturelite!
Spatial Planner
If you like the energy of a small, growing team where no two days are the same — and you take real satisfaction in the small wins — keep reading.
Location: Phoenix, AZ — onsite at our office (full-time on-site position)
Hours: Monday–Friday, normal business hours.
Reports to: CEO
Compensation: $22–25 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits
About Fixturelite
Fixturelite designs and manufactures micro market fixtures, smart cooler solutions, and custom retail displays. Our customers include workplace breakrooms, hotels and hospitality groups, multi-family housing communities, universities, senior care communities, distributor partners, and architects and interior designers building modern unattended retail experiences.
We’re a small, hands-on team based in Phoenix — and the business is growing. That growth is exactly why we’re hiring this role.
The Role
As a Spatial Planner you will help customers visualize and optimize their spaces by creating layouts, renderings, and design concepts using a variety of design software tools. You will work closely with customers and internal team members to understand project goals and develop functional, visually appealing space plans.
This is not an interior design role. Instead, we are looking for someone who enjoys solving spatial challenges, creating layouts, and helping customers understand how products and fixtures will fit within their environment.
What a Day Looks Like
Every day looks a little different — and that’s the point.
On any given day, you may be creating a room layout in SketchUp, developing a customer presentation in Adobe Illustrator, revising a floor plan based on customer feedback, collaborating with sales on a proposal, or helping a customer visualize how a fixture package will fit within their space.
If you enjoy balancing creativity, technology, and customer interaction, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
· Create room layouts, floor plans, and space planning concepts for customers
· Develop visual renderings and presentations using design software
· Work directly with customers to understand project requirements and objectives
· Revise layouts and concepts based on customer feedback
· Collaborate with sales and leadership teams on project proposals
· Assist customers in visualizing fixture placement and space utilization
· Maintain accurate project files and design documentation
· Communicate project updates and timelines to customers and internal stakeholders
· Ensure layouts align with project goals, functionality, and customer expectations
· Support multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
· Perform other duties as assigned
