Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and skilled Family Practice Physician to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive, continuous, and coordinated primary medical care to patients of all ages—from newborns to geriatrics. As a family physician, you will focus on preventive care, managing chronic conditions, diagnosing acute illnesses, and building long-term health partnerships with families within our community.
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Patient Care: Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and infections. Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and heart disease.s.
- Preventative Health & Wellness: Conduct routine check-ups, annual physicals, well-child visits, and immunizations. Counsel patients on diet, exercise, lifestyle modifications, and mental health wellness.
- Family-Centered Medicine: Provide continuous care to entire families, understanding generational health histories and how family dynamics impact health outcomes.
- Diagnostic & Minor Procedures: Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., blood work, X-rays, EKGs). Perform minor outpatient procedures such as skin biopsies, suturing, and joint injections as qualified.
- Care Coordination: Refer patients to specialists when necessary and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nurses, medical assistants, care managers) to ensure seamless care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and secure Electronic Health Records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA guidelines and billing standards.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes and uphold accreditation standards like NCQA.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice medicine.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or equivalent specialty.
- Proven experience in outpatient settings with strong skills in patient assessment and medical records management.
- Familiarity with a variety of medical procedures including suturing, IV infusion, airway management, and dermatology treatments.
- Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms; experience with medical coding (CPT/ICD) is preferred.
- Knowledge of clinical research protocols and familiarity with hospital or inpatient care environments is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: $135,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
