Job Overview
As the Accounting Specialist, you will successfully demonstrate the ability to process and manage various levels of financial processes to ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of customer billing, vendor payments, as well as internal income and expense reporting.
In this role, being organized, analytical and detail-oriented, while providing prompt and courteous responses to inquiries or requests from clients, vendors and team members is imperative. Having strong research, communication and computer skills are also a necessity. You should be committed to providing accurate, efficient, reliable, trustworthy support to fellow team members, as well as our external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily maintenance of accounts payable and accounts receivable submissions in QuickBooks Online.
- Work in coordination with Billing Specialists in our District Offices to ensure accurate and timely service ticket, purchase order and invoice generation using RTMS/BASIS enterprise asset management system.
- Timely and accurate invoice submissions through customer billing portals such as OpenInvoice/OpenTicket, SAP Ariba, etc.
- Maintain accurate and complete records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts and information related to internal and external transactions.
- Assist the accounting team in regular financial activities, including generating reports, developing budgets and assisting with transaction audits and resolving discrepancies.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, both orally and in writing while learning and applying best practices with internal, customer and vendor communications (email, voicemail, telephone and face-to-face).
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to work accurately with minimal supervision and cooperatively within a team.
- Must be capable of troubleshooting issues, developing efficient solutions for problem resolution and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Must live local to the Fort Worth office.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
