Job Summary
We're hiring a Cleaning Technician / House Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in residential and commercial spaces throughout Marin County. You'll work as part of a team delivering thorough, professional cleaning service to our clients. A valid driver's license is required because this role involves driving between client sites during the workday.
Responsibilities
Perform cleaning duties in residential homes, offices, and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens
Disinfect kitchens and bathrooms to sanitation standards
Care for floors using appropriate techniques, including carpet cleaning, polishing, or waxing
Communicate professionally and courteously with clients during visits
Follow all safety protocols for cleaning chemicals and equipment
Handle trash removal, supply restocking, and storage area upkeep
Requirements
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between client sites
Prior experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping preferred
Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and sanitation practices
Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners
Strong attention to detail
Clear, professional communication with clients and teammates
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 35 pounds throughout a shift, with or without reasonable accommodation
Availability to work varied shifts, which may include weekends or evenings
Compensation and Benefits
$18.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experience and role
