Sam Brocato Salon is seeking a polished, enthusiastic and organized front desk team member to provide exemplary customer service and administrative support. In this role, you will be required to greet and welcome clients, answer phone calls and emails, secure bookings, manage appointments, process transactions, and assist with retail sales.
To ensure success as a front desk team member, you should possess excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, be able to remain calm in stressful situations, and provide excellent customer service and support.
Front Desk Team Member Responsibilities:
- Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Tending to customer needs, inquiries, and complaints
- Managing phone calls and emails
- Processing bookings and cancellations, and managing appointments
- Ensuring that the reception area is kept neat and tidy
- Assisting with marketing and sales by providing customers with information on promotions and new products and services
- Processing transactions and refunds
Front Desk Team Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous customer service experience - minimum of two years
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Mac computers
- The ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Consistent professional presentation and pleasant demeanor
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
- Availability on evenings and weekends
Prior experience with the booking software Boulevard a plus!

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour (starting rate based on previous experience)
