**Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced Locator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of heavy equipment operation, particularly in directional drilling. This role involves directional drilling new HDPE conduits for utility installations, requiring a strong understanding of construction procedures and techniques. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient work environment, as well as maintaining a high level of quality in their work.
**Responsibilities and Skills:**
- Perform locating for horizontal drilling operations as required. To include HDD, Bore, Boring, Horizontal Directional Drilling.
-Familiar with Ditch Witch and Vermeer directional drills.
- Understanding percentages and avoiding existing utilities.
- Driving vehicles to and from job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized construction site, adhering to safety regulations and guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
- Provide support to other construction activities, including connecting pipes for pull back.
- Keeping the equipment, trailers, and trucks neat and organized inlcuding cleaning daily.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
