Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor who is deeply committed to the Lord, devoted to prayer, grounded in God's Word, and led by the Holy Spirit. Our congregation desires a shepherd who will faithfully preach and teach Scripture, love and care for people, and provide wise, biblical leadership as we seek to grow in our faith and ministry.
The Pastor We Are Seeking
- A man who meets the biblical qualifications of 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1
- Committed to expository, Bible-centered preaching and teaching
- Demonstrates a strong prayer life and dependence on the Holy Spirit
- Loves people and has a heart for shepherding all generations
- Leads with wisdom, humility, and integrity
- Values discipleship, evangelism, and missions
- Able to lead thoughtfully while guiding future growth
Responsibilities
- Preach and teach God's Word faithfully
- Provide pastoral care and spiritual leadership
- Equip and disciple believers for ministry
- Lead the church in outreach, missions, and community engagement
- Work alongside church leadership to fulfill God's vision for the congregation
Compensation Package
- Salary range: $50,000–$70,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
- Annuity contribution: $1,200 annually
