JOB SUMMARY:
Works with a variety of sheet metal production equipment. Fabricates sheet metal material per drawings to specific job orders.
JOB DUTIES:
- Operates tools to assemble sheet metal accurately.
- Accurately reads a tape measure to assembly material correctly.
- Interprets drawings to assemble material correctly.
- Is a team player, and performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS:
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure (required; a test will be given)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (required)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of basic hand tools
- Knowledge and understanding of metal types and gauging
EXPERIENCE:
- Sheet metal or construction background (preferred)
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be willing to work overtime, including Saturdays, if needed.
- Pre-employment drug screening required
