We are looking for someone who can work in the bakery and also do a small number of deliveries 1 or 2 days a week in our company cargo van.
Grateful Bread Company is an award-winning, family owned and operated artisan bakery. We have openings for full-time bakers who want to create custom handmade artisan breads and pastries for some of the best chefs in Denver who share our commitment to excellence plus for a growing number of bread lovers in the community who come to our retail days. We are looking for enthusiastic entry level bakers.
Reliability and attention to detail are a must, any commercial kitchen experience is a plus. Pay based on experience, with opportunity for advancement for those who want to grow with us.
Grounded in artisan philosophy and focused on quality above all else, we are committed to using only the finest natural, organic, and locally sourced ingredients, including organic whole grain flours milled in-house with our Osttiroler stone flour mill. Our artisan philosophy is at the heart of our bakery - we wouldn't be who we are without it.
Our founder has been baking artisan breads for over 35 years, and he has developed our custom formulas to meet the needs of our chef-driven restaurants. Every week we open a retail shop to the public which includes a selection of exclusive pastries, pretzels and specialty breads.
We don't use any chemicals or preservatives, and we use natural starters and long fermentation processes to create true Old-World-style artisan breads. Our guiding philosophy is uncompromising dedication to quality, maintaining the integrity of the artisan process, using only the very best all-natural ingredients, and creating an environment for artisan bakers to thrive.
Located at the eastern edge of Golden (Lakewood is across the street), approximately 15 to 20 minutes west of Denver via 6th Ave / I-70. Close to light rail station.
