Auto Mechanic Shop / Service Advisor – Full-Time
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Auto Mechanic Shop / Service Advisor to join our growing team. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a professional, courteous, and confident manner
- Clearly explain recommended automotive repairs and maintenance needs
- Create accurate repair estimates and obtain customer authorization
- Coordinate daily workflow with technicians to ensure efficient and timely repairs
- Manage repair orders and ensure all services are properly documented
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office environment
- Support and motivate technicians by promoting proper repair recommendations
- Drive shop performance through ethical upselling, transparency, and trust-building
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Service Advisor or Auto Shop Manager (required)
- Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills
- Proven ability to close repair work with a customer-first approach
- Highly responsible, punctual, and professional
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) required
- Valid driver’s license required
Compensation & Earnings Structure
This position offers a performance-based earnings structure rather than a traditional salary role.
Earnings are directly tied to labor hours sold through the shop. For every flat-rate labor hour sold by technicians, the Service Advisor earns compensation tied to those hours. This structure rewards strong leadership, clear communication, efficient workflow management, and the ability to properly recommend needed services.
There is no cap on weekly earnings — income potential increases with productivity, repair approvals, and overall shop performance.
