Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates the need for a Welding instructor to teach a welding course to high school juniors and seniors. Candidate must be able to work with advanced students as well as students with special needs. Candidate must be able to collaborate with other Tech Center teachers to develop integrated projects, new programs and/or initiatives.
Candidate must hold NY State certification in Welding 7-12.
Background in welding and experience teaching/working with high school students highly preferred. Successful candidate must have a positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to the PNW BOCES core value of pathways to success for every student. Candidates must be highly organized, flexible, and have effective communication and problem-solving skills.
