The Role
As a Customer Success Manager, you will own a portfolio of 30–50 digital marketing accounts. You are the client's primary point of contact and the internal champion for their success. You'll manage deliverable timelines, coordinate with SEO techs, content writers, and developers, and ensure every client feels informed, valued, and growing.
What You'll Do
- Manage a portfolio of SEO, PPC, and content marketing accounts ($100K+ MRR combined)
- Conduct regular client check-ins via email, phone, and video
- Coordinate deliverables with internal SEO techs, content writers, PPC specialists, and web developers
- Monitor account health — billing status, deliverable completion, keyword rankings, and client sentiment
- Proactively identify at-risk accounts and execute retention strategies
- Log all client communications and tasks in our CRM (Quickbase)
- Share monthly performance reports and translate data into actionable insights for clients
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on client needs
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years in account management, customer success, or client services — agency experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of SEO, PPC (Google Ads), and content marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with CRM platforms (Quickbase, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Highly organized — you can manage 30+ accounts without dropping balls
- Comfortable having direct billing and renewal conversations with clients
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Bonus Points
- Experience with legal marketing or professional services
- Familiarity with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, or Google Analytics
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
