Lead and supervise ironworker crews on active construction sites.
Manage daily field operations and ensure work is completed according to project requirements.
Coordinate construction activities with project managers, fabricators, and general contractors.
Review and interpret structural drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to maintain project schedules.
Monitor project progress and adjust plans to address delays or challenges.
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Ensure all work follows OSHA regulations and federal construction safety requirements.
Maintain a safe and productive jobsite environment.
Train, coach, and mentor ironworkers on proper construction practices and safety procedures.
Track project milestones and support successful project completion.
Communicate project updates and field issues with leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Certifications
Proven experience supervising ironworker crews.
Strong background in steel erection and structural steel construction.
Experience managing small to large-scale steel projects.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and structural plans.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
Strong leadership and crew management skills.
Experience coordinating with general contractors, fabricators, and project managers.
Ability to manage schedules, manpower, and resources effectively.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Willingness to travel as required for project assignments.
OSHA safety certifications preferred.
