The Assistant Nurse Manager provides clinical supervision and coordinates unit clinical operations with other departmental disciplines under the direction of the Nurse Manager. This leader provides effective and efficient patient care to all ages on assigned shifts or as otherwise designated . Additionally, this caregiver assumes the responsibilities of the nurse manager in his/her absence.
A caregiver in this position works night shifts, 7:00PM – 7:30AM or 11:00pm – 7:30am (2-8 hour shifts, and 2-12 hour shifts).
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Ensure continuity of patient care information between shifts, coordinate patient admitting, discharges, transfers and other operational issues.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal caregiver include:
Physical Requirements:
Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
Requires some exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids.
Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $39.50
Maximum hourly: $59.60
