We are currently seeking caring, dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team at The Barclay at Midlothian. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting seniors with dignity, compassion, and meaningful connections.

Primary Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant
- Provide companionship, supportive listening, and emotional support to assisted living and memory care residents
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, feeding, and mobility
- Observe residents and report any changes in health, behavior, or condition
- Complete daily documentation and progress data sheets
- Assist residents with memory‑support programs and cognitive engagement activities
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties as needed
- Support dining services, including transporting residents, serving meals, and offering mealtime assistance
- Participate in resident activities to help promote engagement, connection, and joy
- Maintain resident dignity, respect, and safety at all times
Requirements
- A caring heart and a genuine desire to serve others
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Experience working with older adults preferred
- Strong communication skills and a warm, patient demeanor
- Ability to pass all required background and screening checks
