Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Tow Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tow trucks to assist stranded or disabled vehicles, ensuring prompt and professional service for our customers. Your expertise in vehicle recovery, mechanical knowledge, and customer service will be vital in delivering efficient solutions while maintaining safety standards. Duties
- Operate tow trucks equipped with flatbed or wheel-lift mechanisms to recover and transport vehicles efficiently and safely
- Load, unload, and secure vehicles using appropriate equipment, ensuring damage-free handling
- Perform basic to determine the best recovery approach
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and offering professional assistance during vehicle recovery
- Maintain accurate logs of all tow operations, including details of vehicle condition, location, and recovery procedures
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during vehicle transport and recovery operations
Qualifications
- Valid non-commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience operating tow trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict calmly and professionally
- Ability to work independently in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Prior experience in commercial driving or tow truck operation is highly preferred
- A For Hire License will have to be obtained prior to driving. Can take the test while training all but the driving part.
