Job Summary
At Universal Plumbing Pros of Florida Inc (UPPFL) are seeking a dedicated and experienced Working Foreman to oversee both construction projects and service work to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of plumbing code, means and methods, as well as construction management practices. As a working foreman, you will be responsible for supervising teams of 1-4.
Duties
- Supervise and lead team to ensure effective project execution.
- Utilize construction management software such as Service Fusion, ProCore and MS products for project planning and tracking.
- Read and interpret plans, specs, and schematics to guide construction activities.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage budgeting processes and monitor expenses to ensure financial efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop timelines and schedules for pipeline construction tasks.
- Conduct daily site inspections with reporting to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the plumbing industry.
- Familiarity with construction management softwares, including ProCore.
- Strong understanding of quality control practices and budgeting processes.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and schematics effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.
