SUMMARY
Under the immediate supervision of the Convenience/Gas Station Manager or designee, the employee is responsible for maintaining the establishment in a clean and orderly condition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform any combination of tasks to maintain the establishment in a clean and orderly condition.
· Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as operating a power washer, mopping floors, cleaning lavatories, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
· Perform routine maintenance activities; notify management of needed repairs and additions, and clean sidewalks.
· Must understand and comply with departmental internal control regulations.
· Must be able to work any shift.
· Other job duties may be assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
· Ability to work well with others, including diverse personalities.
· Ability to work with minimum supervision.
· Ability to work inside/outside in varied temperatures
· Able to lift to 50 lbs.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Fluent in the English language. Cocopah & Spanish language a plus, but not required.
· Practice good organizational and time management skills.
· Flexible in work hours to cover evenings, weekends, holidays, and events
· Must have reliable transportation.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
· A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
· 2 years of work experience in a related field
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Applicants must be in good physical health, as this job requires a considerable amount of walking and lifting.
