We Are Hiring!
We are currently hiring a Full-Time Overnight Golf Cart Roving Patrol Security Officer.
Please Note: A valid Florida Class D Security License and Driver’s License are required for this position.
Schedule – 46 Hours
- Thursday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Friday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Saturday: 7:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Sunday: 7:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Qualifications
- Must be 25 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Florida Driver’s License
- Clean driving record with no moving violations within the last 3 years
- Valid Florida Class D Security License
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with report writing
- Comfortable working with technology and surveillance software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned responsibilities
- Must be able to respond to emergencies promptly and appropriately
Key Responsibilities
Roving Patrol:
Conduct regular and thorough patrols of assigned areas using a golf cart. Check doors, windows, gates, and other areas for signs of unauthorized access or suspicious activity. Remain alert and proactive in identifying and deterring potential security concerns.
Observation & Reporting:
Monitor the property and surrounding areas. Promptly report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, unusual activity, or incidents to the appropriate personnel. Maintain detailed and accurate patrol logs.
Access Control:
Verify and authorize the entry of employees, visitors, and contractors. Enforce established access control procedures and ensure only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.
Emergency Response:
Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, alarms, and other incidents while following established procedures. Assist with evacuations and emergency responders when needed.
Customer Service:
Provide professional and courteous assistance to clients, visitors, employees, and other individuals while maintaining all security procedures.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with fellow security officers, supervisors, and law enforcement when necessary. Maintain clear and effective communication to ensure appropriate responses to incidents.
Documentation:
Complete detailed and accurate reports documenting activities, observations, and incidents during each shift. Submit reports to supervisors in a timely manner.
