The Polk County Taxpayer Service Center has seasonal job openings for Election Clerks. Duties include, but are not limited to, operating office equipment such as scanners, copiers, phone systems and computers for spreadsheets, word processing, database management and other applications. Applicants must be able to work flexible hours. A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is needed. A valid driver’s license or evidence of equivalent mobility is required. - Performs various election clerical duties involving Absentee/Mail Balloting, Testing, and Election Day Activities

Ability to learn new office technologies as they are developed and implemented.

High school diploma or GED and moderate experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs and basic office procedures or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as those listed above.
