The Lead/Assistant Teacher supports the Teacher in planning, implementing and maintaining a nurturing and supportive educational program for participating children. This position also works to carry out activities covering the comprehensive nature of the program.
School Age Staff are responsible for maintaining active supervision of students at all times, following daily lesson plans, and engaging children in meaningful, developmentally appropriate activities. Staff are expected to build positive relationships with students and families, communicate professionally with parents and guardians, and support a safe, organized, and responsive learning environment. In addition, staff must adhere to all program policies and procedures, including those related to safety, ratios, professionalism, and conduct while on duty.
