Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineering & Acquisition Logistics Specialist to support the development, integration, and sustainment of next-generation space and remote sensing systems supporting critical national security missions.

This role combines systems engineering, acquisition, and logistics planning, with a focus on integrating complex space and ground systems while supporting the full system lifecycle, sustainment planning, and DoD acquisition activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute system integration plans for space and ground systems.
- Lead and support integration activities at the system-of-systems, system, segment, and element levels.
- Evaluate system integration risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support system integration testing, verification, and validation activities.
- Develop and maintain lifecycle sustainment documentation, policies, and engineering artifacts.
- Support configuration management and configuration change control activities.
- Collaborate with systems engineers, acquisition professionals, logisticians, financial managers, and technical stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle.
- Research emerging technologies and recommend innovative engineering approaches to improve mission capability.
- Support acquisition and sustainment planning in accordance with DoD lifecycle management guidance.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience supporting space-based programs, systems engineering, systems integration, or acquisition logistics for Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs).
- Experience with DoD acquisition planning, program management, lifecycle sustainment, and logistics planning.
- Experience integrating hardware and software subsystems.
- Experience performing system integration risk assessment and mitigation.
- Experience supporting system integration test planning and analysis.
- Experience with configuration management and change control.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing Test Readiness Review (TRR) packages.
- Experience supporting space, satellite, or remote sensing systems.
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Knowledge of NASA or NOAA systems engineering processes.
- Familiarity with INCOSE and ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 systems engineering standards.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance.
- Master's degree in a STEM field.
- PMP, CSEP, or ESEP certification.
