Position Overview
Open Gym Premier is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Retail Associate to support day-to-day retail operations at our Anaheim facility. This role assists customers, processes transactions, maintains merchandise displays, organizes inventory, and helps ensure the retail area remains clean, stocked, and welcoming.
The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced youth sports environment while providing a positive experience for athletes, families, coaches, and staff.
Retail Associate Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional and cooperative attitude with all customers, staff, and coaches
- Keep the retail area clean, organized and well-stocked at all times
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking new inventory
- Fold and organize apparel, tag new merchandise and assist with inventory management
- Re-merchandise displays as needed to reflect current promotions and maintain visual standards
- Handle customer transactions accurately using the Square POS system
- Keep back stock and storage areas organized and accessible
- Process returns and exchanges according to company policy
- Follow all store procedures and operational guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of customer service, retail, cashiering, or related experience preferred
- Must be punctual, dependable, courteous, and professional
- Comfortable using or learning POS systems; Square POS experience is a plus
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Able to lift, carry, and move boxes or merchandise up to 50 lbs.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
