This role serves as one of the first points of contact for patients and referring providers. The ideal candidate is professional, friendly, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining excellent communication and customer service skills.
This individual will assist with:
- incoming calls

Responsibilities
- Answer inbound patient calls in a professional and compassionate manner
- Schedule new and existing patient appointments accurately and efficiently
- Assist patients with questions regarding appointments, referrals, and basic office information
- Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information
- Coordinate incoming referrals from physician offices and healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
- Monitor voicemails, missed calls, and patient communication queues
- Help maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinic
- Communicate effectively with providers, clinical staff, and administrative team members
- Ensure a welcoming and professional front office environment
- Uphold HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards at all times
- Very patient insurance benefits and eligibility
- Collect patient payments prior to the visit
- Support practice growth through exceptional patient service and communication
Qualifications
- Previous medical office, call center, or healthcare administrative experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Insurance verification experience preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Experience with EMR systems preferred
- Knowledge of insurance verification and referrals is a plus
- Dependable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
