Job Summary
Mooring Law, LLC is a modern, tech-forward law firm in Vineland, NJ, dedicated to providing strategic advocacy in municipal defense, family law, landlord-tenant, criminal defense, personal injury, and civil litigation.
Duties
- Independent Case Management: Manage files independently from initial intake and discovery through to final trial or resolution with minimal oversight.
- Business Development: Actively network, leverage referral systems, and bring in new cases to support the firm's growth.
- High-Level Firm Management: Collaborate with Attorney Dave Mooring on operational workflows, internal logistics, policy implementation, and staff oversight.
- Courtroom Representation: Represent clients in NJ Municipal and Superior Court hearings, conferences, and trials.
- Legal Drafting: Prepare motions, pleadings, briefs, and demand letters utilizing Lexis+ AI/Protégé (with mandatory verification and case law audits).
- Professional Communication: Coordinate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and prosecutors
Qualifications & Requirements
- NJ Bar License: Active license in good standing (mandatory).
- Advocacy & Writing: Strong oral advocacy and clear, persuasive legal writing skills.
- Tech-Literacy: Comfortable using MyCase, eCourts, Google Workspace, and AI research tools.
Pay: $1,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month
