Floor nurses at Cheyenne Medical Lodge handle medication passes and resident care routines across our skilled nursing units. You will collaborate directly with CNAs and attending physicians to maintain accurate clinical documentation and update care plans as needed. The work centers on direct bedside care and regular clinical monitoring throughout each shift.
Responsibilities
- Administer scheduled medications and treatments following physician orders.
- Complete shift assessments and document resident changes in PointClickCare (PCC).
- Direct floor CNAs on routine care tasks and patient monitoring.
- Communicate care updates to attending physicians and family members.
- Perform admission assessments, skin checks, and wound care management.
Compensation, Schedule & Benefits
- Pay Rate: Starting at $28/hr for LVN and at $35/hr for RN, scaling upward with experience and licensure (LVN or RN)
- Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts (6am-6pm or 6pm-6am)

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Texas RN or LVN license in good standing
- PointClickCare (PCC) documentation experience preferred
- Prior experience in skilled nursing (SNF) or long-term care (LTC) settings
- Must pass a standard criminal background check
- Must pass a drug screening
- Reliable transportation for consistent attendance
