We are currently seeking a Bilingual Special Education Resource Teacher for a full-time school-based opportunity at Pioneer Elementary School in Lafayette, Colorado for the 2026/2027 school year.
Position Details
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Pioneer Elementary School – Lafayette, CO
- Elementary Special Education Resource Teacher
- Contract dates: August 4, 2026 – May 21, 2027
- Face-to-face, school-based position
- Must be a flexible and collaborative team player
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of classroom experience
- Must hold or currently be in the process of obtaining a Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license
- Spanish/English bilingual skills preferred, but not required
- Candidates should have experience supporting Multilingual Learners, including students whose home language is Spanish
- Strong communication, classroom management, and collaboration skills
Pay
- $55-$57 per hour
- $2,062-$2,137 per week
Responsibilities
- Provide Special Education instruction and support to elementary-aged students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide appropriate accommodations and modifications based on student needs
- Support Multilingual Learners, including students whose home language is Spanish
- Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
- Collaborate with general education teachers, Special Education staff, related service providers, administrators, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
