We are seeking a skilled, diligent Production Infusion Technician with a great attitude. This position is a role which carries significant responsibility and offers learning opportunity for composites manufacturing across the company.
Skills and Responsibilities:
· Prepare molds and tooling for composite layup and infusion
· Perform precise hand layups using dry fiber materials
· Set up and execute vacuum-assisted resin infusion processes
· Mix and handle resins, hardeners, and other composite materials in accordance with safety protocols
· Ensure each fiberglass layer is installed to prevent bridging, wrinkling, and resin richness
· Install core with minimal gaps
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant workspace
· Interpret technical drawings, layup schedules, and process documentation.
· Accurately complete all required documentation, including quality checklists and ensuring material traceability.
· Perform visual and dimensional inspections of completed parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications prior to verification by our Quality Team
· Collaborate with quality control team to address nonconformities and implement corrective actions.
· Work with a sense of urgency
Team Collaboration:
· Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless workflow and product delivery.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce waste.
Qualifications:
Required-
· Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a quality-first mindset
· Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, iterative environment
· Comfortable using trimming tools, grinders, and measurement instruments
· Able to read technical drawings and follow standard operating procedures
· U.S. Person (citizen or permanent resident) required due to DoD contract work
Preferred-
· Experience with marine composite fabrication
· Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systems
· Familiarity with vinyl ester and polyester resins, carbon fiber, dry fiberglass
· Experience with vacuum bagging and resin infusion.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods.
· Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds.
· Tolerance for repetitive tasks, including cutting, rolling, laminating, and sanding.
· Strong hand-eye coordination for precise resin application and control.
· Required use of PPE when handling chemicals and composite materials.

Compensation:
- Salary: $22-$29/hour DOE
