In this energetic role, you'll be the go-to expert for clients seeking premium hair extensions, guiding them toward their dream look while delivering outstanding customer service. Your enthusiasm, product knowledge, and people skills will drive sales and build lasting client relationships. Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their hair goals, providing personalized consultations on hair extensions, coloring, styling, and care routines.
- Demonstrate expertise in hair extension types, application techniques, and maintenance to educate clients effectively.
- Utilize salon software such as Bo to schedule appointments, track client preferences, and manage retail inventory efficiently.
- Upsell complementary products like hair care items, styling tools, and salon services to enhance client satisfaction and increase revenue.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace adhering to sanitation standards and proper hair extension application procedures using tools like straight razors and barbering techniques when appropriate.
- Build strong client relationships through excellent communication skills, ensuring repeat business and positive referrals.
- Mentor new team members on product knowledge, retail math, retail sales strategies, and client communication to foster a collaborative environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in beauty, hair extensions, or retail sales is highly preferred
- Proven success in retail sales with strong upselling abilities a plus
- Familiarity with hair care products is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate clients on products and care routines
- Comfortable with basic computer tasks (order processing, email)
- Experience providing exceptional customer service to a diverse clientele in a fast-paced setting
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Available for a mix of Monday–Saturday shifts
