Responsibilities:
Coordinates and regulates the flow of information among residents, families, visitors and staff to facilitate routine unit activity
Is responsible for carrying out all directed transcription from patient record
Operates the nurse call system. Initiates actions required to enter data, obtain messages, distribute information appropriately
Responsible for utilizing current technical skills to ensure that unit work operations are completed in an efficient
Orders and maintain unit supplies to consistently and appropriately provide adequate unit inventories
Keeps designated work area clean and organized to facilitate unit operations
Shift:
Full-time
6:45am - 3:15pm
High School Diploma or equivalent required, some college desired
Secretaria skills, type 40 words per minute, compluter knowledge
Ability to be courtoeus and effectively communicate with people
Some medical terminology experience preferred
Ability to work independently
