Experienced Medical Billing Specialist
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, with the skills necessary to improve our current billing procedures and reduce A/R days as well as demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies.
- Work claims and claim denials to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided.
- Ensure the patient’s medical information is accurate and up to date.
- Prepare bills and invoices, and document amounts due for medical procedures and services.
- Implement, maintain and report on programs initiated by the practice.
- Help patients develop patient payment plans.
Requirements:
- Must have minimum 1yr experience as a Medical Billing Specialist or similar position.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, within a team centered environment and multitask.
- Experience with electronic medical records a must, eClinicalWorks is a plus.
