About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Industrial Millwright to join our growing team of skilled trades professionals. This role is for those who take pride in their precision, mechanical knowledge, and ability to keep industrial operations running at their best.
As an Industrial Millwright, you’ll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy machinery and mechanical systems in power plants, manufacturing facilities, refineries, and other industrial environments. Key Responsibilities
- Install, align, and maintain industrial machinery, pumps, conveyors, turbines, compressors, and rotating equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings to plan layouts and installations.
- Perform precision alignments using laser and dial indicators.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform repairs on gearboxes, bearings, belts, and hydraulic systems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding, and cutting equipmentsafely and effectively.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and record work accurately.
- Work with rigging teams to move and position heavy equipment safely.
- Collaborate with electricians, welders, and supervisors to ensure seamless job completion.
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork at all times.
Requirements
? Minimum 3–5 years of millwright or industrial maintenance experience.
? Proficient in equipment installation, alignment, and mechanical repair.
? Must be able to read and interpret detailed blueprints and schematics.
? Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
? Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel if needed.
? Must provide basic hand tools and PPE.
Preferred Qualifications
? Experience in power generation, refineries, paper mills, or steel mills.
? Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
? Welding and fabrication experience a plus.
? OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
? Skilled in rigging and precision equipment alignment.
