Refrigeration Technician & Trailer Mechanic

Midwest Bulk Inc. is looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician & Trailer Mechanic to join our growing maintenance team.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on refrigerated trailers
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair trailer electrical, air brake, suspension, lighting, and ABS systems
- Perform DOT inspections and ensure equipment meets safety standards
- Repair trailer components including doors, floors, landing gear, wheel ends, and structural components
- Complete service documentation and maintenance records
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Experience repairing refrigerated trailer units required (Thermo King and Carrier units preferred)
- Trailer maintenance and repair experience
- Knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, air brake systems, and trailer components
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus but not required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a shop environment
