Overview: Adirondack Beverages is looking to add a Quality Specialist to their team.

Create Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in their delivery.

Facilitate third-party lab testing for products as needed, monitoring the types of testing and when it is required.

Review lab results to ensure that quality standards are being upheld and customer requirements are being met
- Review in-house lab testing results, notifying Quality Manager of any out-of-specification results.
- Monitor and report on yields as assigned and notify Quality Manager of any issues or high losses.

Perform routine product inspections on the line, looking for dents, wrinkles, code quality, seam/cap application quality, correct material usage, label application, etc.

Support Quality Lab Technicians as needed and assist with questions regarding product specifications and sample collection.

Auditing the accuracy of recordkeeping regarding lot numbers and batch ingredients.

Work closely with Quality Manager, Quality Supervisors, syrup technicians, lab technicians, line foreman, receiving and shipping warehouse teams, and production schedulers to help improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall workflow.

Perform miscellaneous projects as needed.

Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality.
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to read, write and keep records
- Good computer skills including literacy with Excel and Word
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to “be on your feet” from beginning to end of shift.
- Able to lift materials up to 50 pounds
