AWS/CES is NOW HIRING: Facility Maintenance Technician
Location: Louisville, KY
Pay: $30+/hour, depending on experience
We are seeking an experienced Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team in Louisville, KY. This position is responsible for maintaining building systems, troubleshooting equipment, completing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the facility operates safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair issues with lighting, outlets, plumbing, toilets, doors, and HVAC systems.
- Respond quickly to emergency maintenance calls to minimize downtime and maintain a safe facility.
- Use CMMS software to track, manage, and complete daily work orders.
- Perform facility repairs including painting, drywall, and basic carpentry.
- Coordinate with and oversee outside contractors for larger or specialized projects.
- Perform servicing and troubleshooting on 480V 3-phase electrical systems.
- Assist with the removal and installation of equipment services, including electrical, water, air, and gas.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work from ladders.
- Vocational school training, Journeyman experience, or an associate degree in a skilled trade such as Electrical or HVAC preferred.
- Experience working with 480V 3-phase electrical systems is required.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs in a fast-paced environment.
