We are actively recruiting Registered Nurses (RN) for full-time positions at a state-operated psychiatric hospital in Anderson, South Carolina. Your expertise and leadership will help ensure high-quality care for those in need.
These highly competitive positions provide premium hourly pay and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Successful candidates must be able to complete onboarding requirements and begin their assignment in accordance with the specified schedule.
Job Details:
- Full-time schedule, 40 hours (five 8-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend)
- Rotating first / second shift (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. / 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.) positions are available
- Straight second shift (3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.) and straight third shift (11:30 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.) positions are available
- Mandatory 10-day onboarding for orientation and training, first shift (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.), Monday through Friday, at the beginning of the assignment
License and Credentials Requirements:
- Current South Carolina or Compact RN License
- Behavioral health nursing experience
- Current CPR Certification, BLS - American Heart Association
- Current 2-Step PPD or QuantiFERON
Primary Job Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments
- Plan and coordinate care
- Manage patient medications
- Manage patient documentation
- Direct and supervise LPNs and Nurse Aides
