Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Residential New Construction HVAC Installer to join our growing team. In this role, you will install complete HVAC systems in newly constructed homes, ensuring every installation meets company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and local building codes. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, works well with builders and other trades, and is committed to completing projects safely and on schedule. Willing to train the right individual if you have a construction background.
Responsibilities
- Install residential HVAC systems in newly constructed single-family homes, townhomes, and multi-family residences.
- Install furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps, condensers, evaporator coils, thermostats, and ventilation equipment.
- Measure, fabricate, and install sheet metal ductwork, flex duct, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and HVAC layouts.
- Perform equipment startups, basic system testing, and airflow adjustments.
- Ensure installations comply with manufacturer specifications, local building codes, and company standards.
- Coordinate daily with construction superintendents, builders, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to maintain project schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Properly use and maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Report material shortages, installation issues, or jobsite concerns to supervisors.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous residential HVAC installation experience preferred; new construction experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of residential heating and cooling systems and installation practices.
- Experience installing ductwork, equipment, and ventilation systems.
- EPA Certification is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and unfinished construction sites.
- Climb ladders, bend, kneel, crawl, and stand for extended periods.
- Work safely in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
