· Hours 6a-2:30 pm M-F, additional hours provided when BCP needs to pick up from Chicago area or when delivering to customers.
· Up-to-date CDL A.
· Continuation of an up-to-date medical examiner certificate.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations relative to driver distance and load capabilities.
· Check vehicles before and after driving them to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
· Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
· Read bills of lading to determine assignment details.
· Additional hours guaranteed for the ability to load & unload trucks via forklift.
o Load the vehicle with all designated supplies/equipment and assure all items on checklist are placed on the truck.
· Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
· Other duties as assigned.
· Communicate needs directly to Building Manager.
· Communicate all issues to Building Manager.
