<Responsibilities>
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants and preschoolers
- Provide attentive care to children’s basic needs, including feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene routines
- Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment that encourages curiosity and independence
- Foster positive behavior through gentle guidance, behavior management strategies, and consistent routines
- Collaborate with lead teachers to assess each child's progress and tailor activities to meet individual needs, including those with special education requirements or disabilities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by practicing first aid when necessary and maintaining accurate documentation of daily activities
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's day-to-day experiences and developmental milestones
<Skills>
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar caregiving roles
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics with patience, enthusiasm, and strong behavioral management skills
- Certification in first aid is highly desirable; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families
- Familiarity with infant care routines, toddler care techniques, and classroom experience in early childhood settings
- Demonstrated ability to create a nurturing environment that supports learning through play and exploration
