Infant Toddler Teacher - full time with excellent benefits - at the YWCA Sonoma County child care center:
- Healdsburg, CA classrooms. Work hours for closing shift are until 5:30 pm
Minimum Qualifications for Teacher:
- Early Childhood Education (per college transcript)
- 12 units ECE/CD including core courses
- Must have at least 3 units of coursework specific to infants age 0-3
- or a Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year experience working in a licensed childcare facility
- Currently possess an Associate Teacher Permit or Teacher Permit or be qualified to apply for and be granted the Associate Teacher or Teacher permit
Conditions of Hire:
- Ability to pass agency criminal background check, TB test and physical.
- Valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance and immunization records to influenza, pertussis, and measles.
- ECE and work experience to apply for an Associate Teacher Permit

Job Description Summary: Working in collaboration with classroom teaching staff, , teachers are responsible for developing and implementing a quality childcare program that helps develop children’s physical, social/emotional, and cognitive areas of development. This can include, but is not limited to, modeling positive communication, nurturance, and effective problem-solving skills. This position is supervised by the Site Supervisor and Director of Childcare Services.
