Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces across all areas of the facility.
- Handle janitorial tasks with precision, ensuring restrooms, break rooms, lobbies, and other common areas are spotless and well-stocked.
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects that may involve high-volume or specialized cleaning equipment and techniques.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for fixtures, lighting, or equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness during shift changes by organizing supplies and ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards.
- Utilize commercial cleaning tools and products effectively while following safety protocols to prevent accidents or contamination.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures.
- Experience with commercial or industrial cleaning environments preferred.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery including buffers and floor scrubbers safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive motions as required by the role.
