Job Summary:
- Responsible for serving meals to the Assisted Living residents in a courteous manner and maintaining clean and sanitary work areas according to industry and company standards.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Set up the food (hot & cold) in the assisted living kitchens, ensuring the temperatures are up to standards.
- Label and date food placed into the cooler and freezer.
- Discard outdated foods.
- Follow the FIFO (first in, first out) rotation procedures when pulling food for use.
- Clean all equipment and workstations, and organize stock areas.
- Call residents that receive home deliveries to obtain meal orders.
- Assemble and deliver meals requiring home deliveries.
- Load, push, and unload hand cart frequently per shift requiring frequent lifting and pushing up to 25 lbs.
