Key qualifications and skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in a K-8 school setting strongly preferred
- Knowledge of best practices for assessment, therapy, and documentation
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver targeted therapy for students in grades K-8
- Work in partnership with teachers, support staff, and families to support student growth
- Maintain thorough documentation to track student progress and meet compliance requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and actively contribute to student support teams
