Based near Atlanta, this contract role runs from August 2026 through May 2027 and invites you to support young learners’ communication and academic growth over two days each week.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid licensure for the state of Georgia (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in school settings, particularly with K-8 students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with IEP process and evidence-based therapeutic interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and identify speech, language, and communication needs in a diverse K-8 population
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services with a focus on measurable progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to ensure holistic support
- Maintain accurate records, complete progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster an encouraging and inclusive atmosphere within both individual and small group sessions
