Position Overview
The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for guiding patients from diagnosis to scheduled treatment. This role blends patient experience, communication, and sales. You will be the bridge between doctor recommendations and patient commitment.
Compensation
$24–$27 per hour + performance-based bonuses
This role includes a base hourly rate plus bonuses tied to:
- Case acceptance
- Production
- Same-day patient conversion
This is a performance-driven position where compensation is directly tied to your ability to help patients move forward with treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Present treatment plans clearly and confidently to patients
- Educate patients on procedures and urgency of care
- Review insurance and explain financial options
- Overcome objections and help patients move forward with treatment
- Track and follow up on unscheduled treatment
- Maintain high case acceptance rates
- Coordinate scheduling for optimal production
- Accurately document treatment plans and financial arrangements in practice software
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of dental experience
- Experience presenting treatment plans
- Strong communication and sales ability
- Comfortable discussing finances with patients
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
Preferred
- Experience with Dentrix or similar PMS
- Experience in a high-volume practice
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
